How Moisture Enters A Crawlspace

- Moisture on walls and dirt floor or plastic barrier appears from excess humidity or condensation.
Solution: Humidity/Odor Control System.
- Water enters through the ground and comes from hydrostatic pressure (water building up from below and being forced up into the crawlspace).
Solution: Pressure Relief System.
- Water enters through the cracks, seams, or other penetrations in the walls. This is due to water draining or being forced through the walls.
Solution: Exterior System or Crack Injection Solution.
- Water flows over the top of the walls because of improper grading. It could also be caused by improperly sealed porches or additions.
Solution: Contact Seal-Tite® for outside drainage options.
