One approach to stopping water from coming into a basement/crawlspace is by working on the outside of the house. In conjunction with our other waterproofing methods, outside drainage systems help promote positive drainage away from your foundation. In some cases, it is better to perform the work on the outside to prevent water from entering the structure. We provide basement waterproofing solutions throughout VA, TN, NC and WV and our trained professionals will guide you on what solution is best for your area and type of soil conditions.
Some of the methods that Seal-TiteĀ® uses for Outside Drainage

One of the simplest ways to avoid interior water damage is to address how water flows around the exterior of your home.
Often, exterior waterproofing is accomplished by excavating the outside of the house next to the foundation walls. After the walls are exposed, they will be cleaned, repaired, and sealed with a special membrane and a protection/drainboard. At the same time, the proper drainage system will be installed. Finally, the area will be backfilled with 57 stone aggregate and soil. Our years of experience have allowed us to develop several proprietary techniques to provide the customer with the assurance that his or her basement will remain dry.
This approach is best when water is coming through the walls. If the water is coming through one or more cracks, it may be stopped by injecting the cracks. Other methods of injection (inside/outside) or diverting water from the structure are used depending on the circumstances for your wet basement.
