Wall Crack Repair

When a contractor just seals your wall, it doesn’t take care of the underlying problem of foundation walls moving. This causes the same crack issues to occur again and again. However, with our proprietary system, we not only seal the cracks in your foundation, but take care of the underlying cause as well.

Seal-Tite® System

Our process seals the crack with an epoxy product that structurally bonds with the wall and seals it to prevent infiltration of moisture, bugs, and air. After the wall is sealed, carbon fiber straps which are stronger than steel, are fastened to the wall to help prevent further movement. This not only seals the cracks in your foundation, but provides additional structural stability and strength to your foundation walls, and helps stabilize it so that future cracks will not appear.

There are many methods for sealing these cracks within your foundation. Traditionally these include polyurethane or an epoxy sealant injected into the cracks of your home. These methods don’t work well long term. Some of the shortcomings of urethane/epoxy:

• Polyurethane sealant is flexible - can move with the wall as it moves due to foundation settling
• Typical polyurethane provide no structural stability for the wall - not fixing the underlying problem
• Typical epoxy systems seal the wall and bond to it - strengthening it structurally
• Epoxy is not as flexible as polyurethane sealants - used alone epoxy will break open as the wall continues to move

Foundation wall cracks can form due to settling and foundation movement. The soil structure beneath your home is less rigid than your foundation, and can move, settle, expand and contract depending on the weather conditions in your area. When wall cracks develop it can lead to issues such as:
