Settling

Shifting soils can cause serious foundation problems. These are some of the warning signs to look for:

Seal-Tite® uses the Grip-Tite® system to stabilize foundations. The process is as follows:

1. A series of Grip-Tite® Foundation Pier anchoring brackets made of heavy, industrial-strength steel are attached to the building’s footings.

2. Rugged steel piers are hydraulically driven down to solid bedrock of equal load-bearing strata. This is done below ground so nothing is exposed.

3. Once the Grip-Tite® system is in place, you can expect your house or business to solidly rest on bedrock or equal load-bearing strata instead of unstable soil. The shifting/settling problems will be eliminated. Lastly, no future vertical movement will take place and your investment in your house or business will be safe!

Another option used to stabilize foundations, porches, and even new construction footings is the Grip-Tite® Helix pier system. Helix piers are mechanically screwed to deep, stable soils allowing the weight of the building to be transferred from unstable ground to these load-bearing piers.
